News update.

Dear WGS NCC unit ,

This month , from 3-5september.
5 of our very own cadets from the WGSNCC unit went for the senior specialist course.

This course is conducted for the selected few cadets who excel in the Specialist course.
They will be taught instructional abilities in organizing, conducting and executing some forms of parades in NCC and at their school units.
Upon graduation from the course, they may be appointed as Unit Drill Instructors in their school. These cadets will be promoted to the rank of SSG and don the coveted red and white lanyard.
They have the responsibility of maintaining the discipline, conduct and bearing of cadets under their charge.

And on 15th september ,

Some of our very own Part c's will be attending the Scuba Diving course selection ,

Hello to all part A B C s.

Firstly , we bid farewell to our part Ds as they concentrate for their O or N levels.
We all miss you guys !

Secondly , the Part Cs are taking over the unit from now onwards ,
lets work together and maintain the gold standard !

Thirdly , next week will be the IRONMAN competition !
I can promise you that it will be very fun !

Lastly , next week's attire is PT kit.

Just received a last minute notice from Mr Fariz. Part D Passing out Parade is being POSTPONED TO 13 MAY. So there is NO REHERSAL TOMORROW 21/4/10. Everything will be pushed back until after exams. Sorry for the inconvenience caused and PLEASE HELP TO SPREAD AROUND THE WORDS. Thank you very much.

**Promotion Test**

After this test,
Part B will be promoted to the rank of Lance Coporal(LCP),
Part C will be promoted to the rank of Coporal(CPL),

For Part A, there is no promotion yet. But will be raised to the rank of Private(PVT)

Passing Criteria:
1. Attire and Bearing(Haircut, finger nails, SMART uniform, CLEANED BLACK boots, SEASONED beret)

2.Part B: Foot drills only(Stationary drill, Marching, everything)

Part C: Mutual test,Command and Control(CnC), General Specialist Knowledge(GSK)

3. Be on time for training. Late comers might not be able to take the test. Unless with valid reason, etc.

Do you deserve to get promoted???

Sec 2 Combine UG Camp 15-16 March 2010

This is the last camp the part Ds are having with you. Let's make it a memorable one :)

You will be mixed with the NPCC and RCY cadets. So let's be socialable and make more friends.

A piece of advice...Please do not bring expensive valuables and contraband items.

1. Foot and arm drills
2. Prepare Part C for specialist course
3. Lesson on M16 Rifle
4. Learning of footdrills for Part A

Any specialist with improper attire will not be able to join us to training. Please only do what you are posted to do because there are numerous complain about last week training when those are not suppose to take the platoon are taking them and giving a tekan session. If you are unsure about what is your post, please check the notice board outside NCC Room.

Good attendance cadets. But please don't take it too hard. Sometimes specialist can't feel what you are feeling. Just voice out. We don't mind. When we treat you good, you don't take advantage of it. :)

Attire and things to bring are COMPULSORY. Fail to do so, punishment will be given.

Those who skipped NCC, make up training will be given on Monday 1st FEB 2010, 2.45pm at NCC Room sharp

Please be punctual. Last week's training punctuality is very bad.

3. Registration and Sizing of Part A's Uniform
4. Footdrills

The last training attendance was very good. Keep it up. But you guys can do even better if more cadets turn up. :)

Those who miss training or skipped training, please bring your PT Kit and report to the NCC Room on Monday 25/1/2010 at 2.45pm SHARP for make up training. Don't expect us to be kind to you.

Please report at the NCC Room in your Smart No.4 at 2.45pm SHARP!

Bring a small towel with you for the training. Size of the towel doesn't matter.

Same for those who skipped NCC. You know what will happen...

Highlights of the training:

2. Light PT(Towel needed)
3. IFC - Individual Field Craft
4. Basic Survival(If all things went well.)

Cadets are to report in their PT KIT and report outside the NCC room, at 2.45pm SHARP.

Late comers must have a valid reason.

Skipping NCC, you have to face certain consequences as we know that all of you aren't scared of detention/suspension anymore.

The blog has been dead for a while. But now we will try to update once in every few days if there are any latest news.

We will try our very best to post the weekly training's attire, maybe the highlights of the thing we'll be doing and some other details.

There will be a annual camp for WGS NCC on 24 november 2009 to 26 november 2009. It is a 3D2N camp in school.

Cadets are to report to school LATEST BY 1300hrs(1pm) in their Smart No.4 uniform. Failure to do so will cause delay in the schedule.

Part B cadets are compulsory to come for the camp as Camp Steel is cancel, so this camp is counted as your Camp Steel. Failure to do so will affect our BUC.

Below is the packing list for the camp:
1. No.4 Uniform x2
2. P.T. Kit x4
3. Civilian Clothes(Home clothes) x2
4. Socks x4
5. Slippers/Sandals
6. P.T. Shoes
7. Paper & Writing materials
8. Plastic bags
9. Undergarments
10. Sleeping bag
11. Rags for area cleaning
12. Medication(If needed)
13. Utensils
14. Poncho
15. 1.5L water bottle

All cadets are encourage to report in a neat and clean attire. No dying of hair/perming of hair. Nails must be cut. Hair must be short and neat, fringe must not touch the eyebrow, tail must not touch the collar, no long sideburns or fanciful hairstyles. No piercings.

Cadets are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED from bringing excessive cash, cigarettes, outside food or valuable items such as handphone, psp, etc into the camp.

We will NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for any loss or damage to these items.

All valuables will be locked in the NCC room. Cadets will be allowed to use their phones during the personal time allocated to them.
